I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Northeastern University. My research is in categorification, low-dimensional topology, and representation theory.

I am especially interested in link homology theories such as Khovanov homology and HOMFLY–PT homology, and their connections to geometric representation theory, Soergel bimodules, and algebraic geometry.

About my work

My work is driven by the rich algebraic structure underlying homology theories in low-dimensional topology and their categorical and representation-theoretic foundations. Recent themes include the derived trace and center of Hecke categories, handleslides and Kirby colors for Khovanov homology, $y$-ification and Hilbert schemes, categorical diagonalization, and the homology of torus links. A more detailed overview is on the Research page, and a full list of papers is under Publications & Preprints.
